What is an advocate? An advocate is a person who represents and works with a woman who may need support and encouragement to ensure that her rights are upheld. WRISC workers are able to act as an advocate for women of this service. WRISC workers are able to provide information to women and work directly, with permission of the women, with other services. They will listen to you and help clarify any issues that are of concern. They will support you to explain what you want to achieve.
